THREE PROPERTIES WITH DISTINGUISHED FEATURES AND MODERN STYLE

A large project that saw our team design three full home automation systems for new developments in the North West. We began with a lighting design that made the most of the natural light spilling in from the skylights and feature windows, and integrated this with the other systems within the building.

Three individual, exclusive homes with a unique style created for sale by a forward-thinking property developer. Each one sensitively preserved the original features, such as mullioned windows, and was designed to be a future-proof, innovative smart home, providing potential buyers with more than just bricks and mortar. To fulfil the brief on these properties, we designed three unique systems with similar features, including audio/video systems, Lutron lighting controls and Heatmiser heating systems, allowing the new owners to control their space from the Launchport docking stations or their smart phone/tablet.

21st Century living for these meticulously designed and finished properties.  Even though we did not know who would eventually purchase the properties, we treated each system as if it was our own, intuitively and logically choosing lighting to enhance and bring out the architectural features, as well as creating a useful electrical system to make the house a home.

By thinking about how the potential buyer would use the space, and keeping the architectural features at the forefront of the design, the system was installed to have the lowest impact on the building, neatly finished and as much a part of the property as the fitted kitchen or bathrooms.  This was achieved through invisible LED light fixtures, Sonance speakers set into the ceiling and equipment racks kept out of the way, in specially designed cupboards.  This will allow the new owners to enjoy their media, control their lighting and keep an eye on security from anywhere in the world.

FROM THE OWNER

“As a property developer, I have worked with numerous contractors and so-called ‘Home automation systems’, but never before found one that truly works, until now! Everything Lee Roche and his team worked on was right first time, and any problems we found along the way were solved so quickly. The system has added value to the properties and have made them some of the most sought after properties in the North West.”
