This stunning property was originally a 17th Century farmhouse, into which its owners have poured their passion to create a truly stunning family home. LCR Integrated Systems were asked to turn this traditional building into an automated smart home, using the latest technology to enhance and improve the space while being sensitive to the original features of this truly incredible building.

Split over two phases, this project saw us design a complete lighting scheme, using innovative products such as LED tape, beautifully designed Delta Lighting for clean, crisp illumination and stunning chandelier pendants to give a sense of opulent grandeur. This was all tied together in an intuitive control system using Lutron products to enable the owners to set scenes, producing just the right atmosphere at the touch of a button. We used innovative Büren light LED drivers and engines to give the power and style of lighting needed in key locations, including IP rated products to give high performance and longevity in bathrooms or external spaces.  With our intelligent wiring system using the shortest cable runs for each room, we helped the owners to make the most of their beautiful space, allowing the lighting emphasising and highlighting features whilst having as low an impact on the building as possible.

The Greenhill project brief included a fully integrated audio/video system, allowing the family to listen to their music in any room, watch movies from Sky, Apple TV and Now TV from any TV, as well as designing and installing an professional, industry-standard home cinema system.

To ensure the system was robust enough to work in each room, we created multiple racks, with the highest quality equipment, linking together to allow media to be viewed or heard in any room.  We designed a system to ensure each speaker was positioned both in the most optimal place for sound quality, but also to have low impact on the building and create a symmetrical, neat shape on the ceiling.  Each product was linked to an Elan processor, allowing the family to control their audio/video system from their iPad or smartphone, through the Elan gMobile7 app.
